The Ruderman Family Foundation and the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab collaborated a pilot project that explores how partnerships between chaplains/spiritual care providers and mental health professionals on college and university campuses can support students’ mental health. The project was then expanded to a “train-the-trainer” model with pairs of chaplains and mental health counselors, first in Massachusetts, then nation-wide, to run spirituality-based support groups for students on campus.
