On December 5, 2016, the Knesset Caucus for US-Israel Relations held a special discussion on “American Jewry in the Era of a New Administration”. Some of the guest speakers came from the United States to participate, including Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and national director of the Anti-Defamation League, Jane Eisner, editor-in-chief of the Forward, and Professor Gil Troy of the Ruderman Program for American Jewish Studies. Knesset members from the full political spectrum took part in a fascinating, important discussion focusing on the ramifications of the US election results for the Jewish community and its ties with Israel.
