On Sunday, March 17, 2019, a panel discussion entitled, “Electing the Diaspora”, was held as part of a broad effort by the Foundation to put Israel’s relations with the Diaspora, in general, and with American Jewry on the public agenda in advance of the Knesset elections. During the evening, we hosted seven interviews of seven representatives of the seven largest political parties, with journalists who had previously taken part in our educational missions to the United States. The event, organized jointly by the Gesher Leadership Institute, the Museum of the Jewish People (Beit Hatfutsot) and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, was attended by dozens of alumni of relevant programs of the various organizations.
