The power of the media to shape identity, spearhead change and improve society forms the basis and motivation for the existence and activity of the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund. The Ruderman Family Foundation, therefore, collaborated with the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund, a leading organization in social-cinematic creative work, in producing a unique documentary series, the first of its kind. The series, which is currently in the production stages and will be screened in 2021, presents the complex relationship between US Jewry and Israel as an emotional, dramatic, bumpy journey. It is designed in such a way that, in addition to being shown on television and in movie theaters, it can be used by both educators in the United States and in Israel, introducing Israeli audiences to this important issue.
