We’re excited to partner with New England Yachad to put on the 2019 New England Inclusion Summit!
What: From Yachad’s Website: Social isolation and loneliness are increasingly being treated as public health priorities by governments all over the world – and described as a global epidemic. This problem is compounded in the disability community, where there are additional obstacles and stigmas to contend with.
This one-day conference will gather organizations, local leaders and members of the community to discuss how we can create inclusive environments, for people of all abilities and all ages (kids, adults, seniors), that break down isolation and loneliness and create real friendships through recreation and social activities.
Where: The Campus @ 384 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA 02446
When: November 10th, 9:30am-6:30pm
Featured Speakers: Josh Kraft – CEO of The Boys & Girls Club
Jo Ann Simons – President and CEO of Northeast Arc
Mary Beth McMahon – President of Special Olympics, United Sports
Justice Richard Bernstein – Michigan Supreme Court
