Sivan Raz

Sivan Raz is a program officer in the Israel office. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bar Ilan University and an MA in Non-Profit and Community Organization Management from Hebrew University.

Prior to joining the Ruderman Family Foundation, Sivan worked in non-profit organizations focusing on minority groups in Israel, including individuals with disabilities. In addition, Sivan joined the Jewish Agency delegation to the United States as an emissary in South Florida. In South Florida, she was active in both Tzofim- Garin Tzabar, a lone soldier program, and in the Young Judaea youth movement. Sivan also interned in “Yedid”, the association for community empowerment, as a social worker and as a group facilitator in the women’s empowerment program. While in the IDF, Sivan served in the Air Force and continued her service in the reserves.

Sivan lives with her husband and two daughters in a ‘Moshav’ in Israel. She enjoys practicing Yoga, cooking, and hiking Israel’s beautiful landscapes.
