Meir Zimmerman

Inclusion is as much of a passion as it is a job for Meir as he brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to his role at the Foundation. Most recently working for the Yachad – The National Jewish Council for Disabilities as the Outreach Coordinator, Meir has previously been a part of HASC, Kids of Courage and Ohel.

At a young age, Meir helped start a Babies Supplies Drive with his siblings that to this day continues to collect and redistribute thousands of dollars worth of baby products each month. He is always looking for an opportunity to volunteer, as giving back to the community is something he holds dear.

Lifelong New Yorkers, Meir and his wife are new to the Boston area, but that has not changed his love of the Yankees. Outside the office, he enjoys playing basketball, traveling, watching sports and expanding his culinary palette. Meir’s desire to learn has driven him to pursue a master’s degree and he is currently taking night classes to finishing his MSW at Boston College School of Social Work.
