Kristina Kopić

Kristina Kopić, better known as Tina, comes to the Ruderman Family Foundation from the field of academia. She served as a faculty member in various universities throughout the larger Boston area, where she taught writing, research, rhetoric and composition, all with a strong focus on social justice issues, inclusion, and science literacy. Now she uses her communication and research skills in the capacity of an in-house writer and editor to strategically further the foundation’s advocacy efforts.

Tina received her BS in Psychology and her BA in English from the University of Central Florida. She received her MFA in Fiction from Emerson College where she also studied writing & rhetoric pedagogy. In her free time, Tina remains on the staff of the Ploughshares Literary Magazine as a submissions reader, trains jiu jitsu and plays rugby. She lives in North Cambridge with her wife and their two cats.
