Alana is a seasoned professional, having worked and lived in both the U.S. and Israel. She holds two Master’s degrees from the Hebrew University; in International Community Development and in Education. Prior to joining the Ruderman Family Foundation, Alana worked as Program Director for Diller Teen Fellows in Boston. She has also worked as Unit Head for Shutaf, an inclusive program in Jerusalem, and served as Interim Director for Szarvas Youth Fellowships in Hungary. In addition, Alana has extensive experience working internationally and has spent time with communities in Russia, Nepal, and Peru. Alana lives with her husband and daughter in Boston and enjoys experiential education, hiking, and learning Portuguese.
